Postmob app data
The Postmob app collects the information needed to provide accounts, personal graphs, and social features. This includes your email address; profile information such as your handle, display name, bio, and avatar; and content or actions you choose to create, including notes, replies, connections, workspaces, likes, follows, blocks, reports, referrals, and notifications.
We use this data to authenticate you, operate and secure the service, display content according to its visibility rules, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and provide support. Postmob does not sell app data or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
Postmob uses Supabase to provide authentication, database hosting, and related infrastructure. Service providers may process limited network and device metadata needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service. They are required to protect data consistently with this policy and applicable law.
Retention and deletion
App data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion in the app under Profile, Manage Accounts, Delete Account. We process the request within 30 days and delete the account and associated user-generated content. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving an active report, and delete or de-identify them when they are no longer required.
Safety reports and blocks
Reports are private and are used for moderation and abuse prevention. Block relationships are used to restrict interactions and content delivery between accounts. Other users do not receive the details you submit in a report.
Postmob analytics
Postmob records request metadata and site interactions to understand traffic, crawler activity, reading behavior, and beta interest.
- Requested page, country, referrer, campaign, and client type.
- Clicks, active time, maximum scroll depth, and section-level attention.
- No raw pointer coordinates, keystrokes, or session replay.
Before consent in regions that require it, Postmob does not create an analytics session identifier or collect browser interaction events. The server keeps a minimized request record for operations, security, and aggregate traffic counts. In those regions the record excludes the full referrer, full user agent, campaign parameters, ASN, and network organization.
Google Analytics
In Europe, analytics starts only after you allow it. In other regions, analytics starts automatically unless you have opted out. Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies to estimate acquisition, return visits, and retention. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
Your choice
Use the Analytics settings button at the bottom of the page to allow or revoke browser analytics and Google Analytics. Revoking consent stops browser interaction events and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site. It does not disable the minimized server request records described above.
Browser interaction events are retained for up to 90 days. Minimized request records are retained for up to 180 days.
